Are you getting enough greens in your day? Give these green smoothies a try!
Blend green smoothies by placing water rich fruits at bottom of blender to facilitate blending. If you don’t have a high – speed blender, don’t worry, just chop up your veggies into smaller pieces. Smoothies keep for 2-3 days. But to get the most out of the nutrients, drink right away.
Tropical Hemp Smoothie
½ cup pineapple
4 leaves kale
2 tbsp hemp seeds
2 cups water
Strawberry Mint Smoothie
Two ripe mangoes
Two handfuls baby spinach
1 cup strawberries
2 sprigs fresh mint, stems removed
Juice from half a lemon
Green Thai Smoothie
2 cups spinach
½ bunch cilantro
½ garlic clove
½ red or orange bell pepper
2 tbsp. lemon or lime juice
1 packet stevia
2 cups water (Start with less and add as needed)
