Smoothies can help you lose weight, while you cleanse!

Smoothies Work For Weight Loss

I cannot believe how I used to feel exhausted every day. I was bloated, tired and I was gaining weight. I had bags under my eyes. Seriously. I started drinking this smoothie and I have energy, so I am not over eating to boost my energy or living on coffee.

This smoothie is loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C and maca (an adaptogen) to help the body adapt to stress. (Note:  Do not take maca if you have estrogen dominance.)

Energy Smoothie

1 ½ cups dairy free milk, without added sugar

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

1/2 avocado
1 cup spinach

1 Tablespoon coconut oil
1 Tablespoon hemp seeds

1 Tablespoon flax meal or chia seeds
1 teaspoon maca

Pinch of cinnamon
Stevia or raw honey to sweeten

Ice (optional)

Blend and consume. Sip and enjoy!
